Description
Beautiful Victorian FLOW BLUE Bowl/Dish produced byWILLIAM ADDERLEY.
The ceramic was created
between
1870--1907
.
This lovely bowl/dish has FIVE marks on the bottom and includes the OLDEST mark
by
ADDERLEY
. It certifies that this bowl/dish is one of the first items made by
ADDERLEY.
This pattern is titled "LILY".
You can see each (FIVE MARKS) of the maker's marks on the bottom. It has the number 2696, the
ADDERLEY
, and
the number 5. ALSO inscribed on the bottom edge is the number 35 which was intentionally partially over-laid an
inscribed IVORY (we believe?).
This exquisite antique Bowl/Dish (approx 145 years old) with no chips or cracks or repairs. The bowl/dish has 4
minor kiln nicks/spots (pontil marks?) on the bottom of the inside--photo of each.
It also has 6 minor kiln nicks
(pontil marks?) on the outside bottom.
It measures approx 2 1/2" high. It is 7 1/2" wide in one direction by 7 3/8" wide in the other. SEE PHOTOS.
This almost
"century-and-a-half" old treasure
is in excellent condition and an eye-catching stunning BOWL/DISH.
