Opportunity knocked from the moment Joe signed on with Sikorsky Aircraft.Joe was a rising star ⭐️ for the company and for those who knew him,expressed he was a great 👍 friend and a man of his word. We were fortunate enough to meet friends of the legend this week out in East Granby,Ct. Joe was a top notch mechanic & an experienced pilot 👨‍✈️ for many years. Sikorsky employed thousands of workers throughout the years and Joe was a well known man of the company.This item was obtained from a family friend who wanted to pass on the memory & momento from his dear friend.This Stub wing was mounted & given to Joe as a retirement gift 🎁.This VINTAGE AIRCRAFT SIKORSKY HELICOPTER SK-76 RETIRED STUB WING 🚁 was an earlier model that Joe helped assemble,worked on and flew.The wing is left as is the day he got it with all the added little momentos (lucky penny,horseshoe,USA patches) customized for our hero on his special day.The wing sits upright on a wood mantle standing 18” in height and 18.5” in length.The metal emblem plaque is scripted with our heroes name,dates & thanks for his service (see pics).The picture of a SK-76 in our listing is an example of the type of aircraft Joe took care of.This wing is not off of that aircraft.We left this wing like we obtained her-as is and unclean.Shes in good condition for her age overall.This is a Gold Star ⭐️ item from your friends at Trader Lou’s....The rarity,the subject matter,the condition & what the item is make this an awesome 😎 pick for anyone.This item will be packed secure & safe for all Ebay customers.
