    Description

Examine the photos carefully, as they include descriptive inscriptions and a paragraph by J.D. True who made the rail. There is also information on the Internet that goes into more detail about the "45 pound" railways that were used from 1898 up to the late 1950s when they had to be replaced by 65 and 72 lb rails to accommodate heavier locomotives and rolling stock.
The weight of this rare collectible is 2 lb 5 oz.
