PLEASE NOTE ............ this item is selling AS-IS ....... i will describe it to the best of my ability , but nearly every item i sell is from 50 to 100 years old and will show some sign of wear

THIS LISTING ........ this came right out of a local AM & FM radio station near my home ....... i bought it surplus in 1970 from the engineer ........ it worked for as long as i used it ....... but i can not test it anymore ...... no tape , no mikes , no cables .....nothing to input ........ still it is complete .... the tubes light up ......., it has at least 3 heavy motors ........ very fast in fast forward or rewind ......... they all work .... the meter lights up ........ and the leather looking cover is also complete ..... but needs to be glued back in place in a couple of places ........
this weighs 50 pounds without any packing ........ made in Elkhart Indiana i am guessing it as from the early 1950 era ...... the station used to take it on remotes then they were selling cars live ...... or for many other things ........ it has been made to abuse ..... and yet it seems so nice ...... inside and out ......... i have not used it in the last 45 years for anything ....... but i doubt anything is missing
. the noise the amplifier makes is deafening ...... but also , no sounds emanate without a tape or a mike ....... sigh
. selling it as-is ...... i think any electronic collector of vintage devices might like an excuse to own this rare machine
i think my set in price is quite reasonable .......

Usually the post office and sometimes UPS ......and sometimes the eBay shipping calculator is way off the mark ............. please ask if the shipping seems too much ....... often we can send it slower and save you some money ..... , it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states
we pay for insurance on everything we ship out of our own pocket
