    Description

    Old Native American Rattle Made from a Vertebra Bone
    Wrapped in rawhide
    Dyed at joint and in some of the feathers, and some of the rawhide
    Some other of the smaller feathers are very downy looking, and they were once white but have aged in color
    Half of one of the large feathers is gone, and another is cracked on the spine, but still in tact.
    The bells are very old looking.
    This artifact was definitely important to someone and vibrates of participation, serious involvement, and of use
    About 22 inches long
    It is very authentic and very mysterious. I don’t know from where it originated, but I found it in Santa Fe tucked away on a shelf of an old store, and couldn’t believe my eyes.
