LOVE TOKEN "MADGE" ON 1796 to 1807 US LARGE CENT * SMOOTH DEEP CHOCOLATE BROWN

1796 to 1807 US Draped Bust Large Cent used to make an
extremely beautiful Love Token !!
(The scans do not come close to capturing the beauty. Much, much, much more beautiful in hand !! ) Original Love Tokens on Early US Large Cents are quite scarce to rare.
The love token is made on the coin obverse. The color is a
beautiful deep brown
. The
surface is super smooth
. The ornate letters spelling out, "MADGE" are circled by ornate wavy lines and other neat characters. Token is holed for suspension wear.
The reverse shows minimal detail but the ribbon ends, the fraction, and RICA are faintly seen. No doubt US Draped Bust Large Cent.
This token must date back nearly to the date of manufacture of the coin as evidenced by the original beautiful color and toning !!
This token has super choice surfaces. The original large cent would be very expensive without being made into a Love Token.
I would like to know the Love Story behind this token. Great piece of history.
