This is a Camponotus Vicinus queen with 20-23 Camponotus nearcticus workers. They are carpenter ants. They are feeder food. I recommend them for intermediate ant keepers and expert ant keepers since they are very needy  when they get to a big size. They have massive soilders that have a very painful crush to your skin with their massive jaws. This is one queen, 20-30 workers, and 6-7 cocoons and some larvae. I also do local pick up but require a mask! If you do not wear a mask we can not do local pick up.
A Story on how i got and caught and how a diffrent species of carpenter ant queen and got a different species of worker to work for that queen: i went to update new york with my family and i open a log and found a massive Camponotus nearcticus colony with 40 Cocoons and some larvae. I quickly gave it to my Camponotus Vicinus queen who just layed her  massive batch of eggs for her 3 new nanitics. The nanitics and the queen quickly accepted the brood. 1 week later they have 20 workers not sure if its 23 but im guessing but i know for sure its 20 workers strong. By the way 17 workers are the Camponotus nearcticus. And the all the brood is also Camponotus nearcticus. So this is a brood boosted colony. So better get it soon.
