    Description

    Superlative gift for a person who has everything.  This highly stylized dolphin can be found as early as 1900 and well into the Art Deco period. Thus it is a transitional piece from Art Nouveau into Art Deco periods.
    Given its potential age, it is in amazing condition.
    Most pieces from the later Art Deco period have finishes that are compromised, yet, the paint on this piece is unbelievable.
    I kept it on a shelf to admire it but it makes a nice decorative piece for a desk.
    This is a hefty paperweight that is almost two pound and is 4.25 inches tall.
    I don’t know what it is made of but I would guess cast iron. I challenge you to find this piece on Ebay or anywhere on the internet.
