1979 Ford Thunderbird

Description

1979 Ford Thunderbird mostly restored in the 1990's. New front fenders, paint, radiator support, body bushings, new front end, brakes (calipers/wheel cylinders) all around, tires (new), springs, shocks, exhaust, radiator and all brake and fuel lines. I installed a fully rebuilt 460 with stainless valves, .10 over forged pistons back in 1995 by Joe Lapine in Danbury with a rebuilt C-6 transmission. Recently installed new gas tank, fuel pump, rebuilt Holley 750 plugs and rotor and cap. She runs very well and tracks solid for a big old car. Needs 93 octane fuel with lead additive depending on fuel. Also aluminum drive shaft and new u-joints.
Also installed a rear sway bar 2 years ago. Just needs the interior reinstalled (new carpet). Air Conditioner compressor replaced in 2000 along with a new A/C condenser new O-rings and dryer. The A/C system still is ice cold (R-12). Lost interest and she has been in a heated garage since 1990. Lots of spare parts including a front clip and a 3.25 Ford 9" pumpkin (non-posi). Don't need to sell just looking for the next person to show some love on the old Girl.
